Head of Shanghai Conservation Programme Posted Nov 07, 2007

This position will report to the Leader of WWF-HSBC Climate Partnership China Programme.
- Development conservation strategy, esp. update logframe, M&E and Work Plan for related
projects in the Lower Yangtze, Estuary and Shanghai, under the overall framework of WWFHSBC
Climate Partnership China Programme (HCPCP) and consistent with the overall
Yangtze Strategy and Action Plan.
- Implementing components of HCPCP in the Lower Yangtze and Estuary, as well as Shanghai
City, to meet the objectives of the programme – mitigation and adaptation to climate change.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration among HCPCP teams in Shanghai, Wuhan,
and related programmes/ departments in Changsha and Beijing Offices.
- Maintain and development partnerships and networks for HCPCP.
- Maintain good relations with donors and partners of the WWF-HSBC Climate Partnership.
- Strengthen Shanghai Programme Team capacity and skills for delivery of related projects in
the lower Yangtze, Estuary and Shanghai City.
